Batter, beating and baking

Flapjacks prepared and shared

Residents of Ron Smith Care Centre’s River Lodge 1 wing recently enjoyed a baking session. They spent a pleasant while making flapjacks before sharing the delicious golden treats with other residents and staff members. Resident Pushpwathee remarked on how long it had been since she had cracked open an egg, and all the bakers agreed that the activity brought back good memories of happy hours spent in their own kitchens.

Virginia Lorge... a dab hand at mixing.

A pleasant morning spent making and eating flapjacks.
